Company implemented barcode technology; therefore, every tools, equipment and machineries were labelled with barcodes. Each barcode was coded with the information of respective assets such as purchase date, services schedule, location etc.
An authorized person with C4000 mobile computer scanned the asset’s barcode and identify the services schedule. The capture by mobile computer could be transfer to main database via wireless network. It ensured the availability of right assets at the right place. In the event of beackdown or emergency, an operator could take images of assets through C4000 mobile computer and take a note for further action.
