Background
Under the influence of the COVID-19 epidemic, schools need to conduct temperature detection and retrospective management of all personnel entering and leaving the campus,to to prevent the epidemic. In the early stage, simple temperature measurement points of the infrared thermal imaging body temperature detection system have been deployed at the entrances and exits of the campus. Huanggang Normal University in China has also taken the same measures, but there are still some shortcomings. In order to improve and supplements the body temperature detection system, Huanggang Normal University chose to deploy the Chainway C70 thermometry mobile data terminal for campus personnel access management. The solution further facilitates the inquiries of access personnel and vehicles, realize the management of the entry and exit of the campus personnel by swiping the card/ID/health code, and manager the human temperature binding.

Challenges
1. The simple temperature measurement points deployed in the early stage cannot simultaneously verify personnel's identity and manage the past paths. It further cannot meet the needs of comprehensive epidemic prevention and control management.
2. The simple temperature measurement system deployed in the early stage cannot achieve human temperature binding, which is not conducive to the tracking and management of personnel trajectories.
3. The original system cannot be connected to schools and third-party body temperature detection platforms, and the detected body temperature data information cannot be fed back and reported in real-time, which is inconvenient for management.
4. The management cannot with the vehicle’s access control management platform and unable to realize the query of vehicle information and association of violation information, and vehicle management is inconvenient.
Solution
To further improve the school's body temperature detection system and solve the above-mentioned problems in a better manner, Huanggang Normal University chose to deploy the Chainway C70 Thermometry Mobile Data terminal with multiple functions. The handheld terminal not only has the body temperature detection function, but also can identify and verify the card, ID card and health code, and at the same time realize the binding of human and temperature. Besides, all data information can be transmitted to the background management system in real-time via the wireless network and displayed on a third-party platform. At the same time, C70 can also connect to the vehicle’s access control management platform, query vehicle information, and correlate violation information to achieve comprehensive management of incoming and outgoing vehicles, significantly improving work efficiency.
