Fixed Asset Tracking for Public Security Bureau

Background
 
Aiming to enhance efficient management for fixed assets, Public Security Bureau decided to apply RFID technology, by the installation of fixed assets RFID tags, equipped with handheld RFID devices, to realize quickly and easily efficient inventory, depreciation, tracking, and finalize standardized work process of fixed assets management mechanism.
 
Challenges
 
1. Fixed assets are wide geographic distribution, the complex structure of classification, frequently renovation, asset inventory is with heavy workload and difficulty and the traditional manual way of inventory, often appear omissions, errors etc, which is inefficient, cannot fully reflect the changes in assets in real time.
2. There is no effective monitoring mechanism to effectively supervise the work of the staff, and it is impossible to ensure that the inspection of the assets is in place.
3. Administrators cannot check and understand the situation and status of the various maintenance of fixed assets and cannot make a reasonable maintenance schedule, which affects the normal development of policeman work.
 
Solution
 
In response to the above problems and in combination with customer needs, Shenzhen Chainway information technology offered Chainway C72 UHF handheld data terminal, combined with the application of RFID tags, intelligent management of fixed assets of Public Security Bureau is realized. Admin staff can quickly and accurately acquire information and record it by scanning the RFID tag with C72 data terminal, and via wireless communication technology to transmit all the data real-time to the management system, significantly improves the efficiency and quality of asset inventory, depreciation and tracking.

3. Admins are able to capture assets information timely and develop maintenance service plans to minimize the incidence of failures and ensure that all needed assets are always in normal operation.
