Background
Morocco Post has various logistics services like express mail, emergency delivery, goods transport by land, freight forwarding, custom delivery. With many warehouses and regional centers across the country, it has huge  courier and parcel market share in Morocco, and large daily package throughput. In order to strengthen the management of logistics business and boost the level of logistics services, Morocco Post is seeking new technology to optimize business processes, and promote the efficient operation of the overall logistics distribution.
 

Challenges
  • Traditional operation of receiving, sorting and delivery are mainly recorded by means of handwritten documents. It is often unclear, error-prone and difficult to identify, resulting in inefficient distribution.
  •  Position status of the couriers cannot be tracked at any time, so there is no available measure for effectively supervising the couriers.
  • The express delivery information cannot be uploaded and shared in time, then customers have no chance to know the real-time status of express delivery.
  •  Managers can't capture the logistics information of all express parcels in real time, which affects the management of the entire operation.
 

Solution
The operator can scan the barcode of the goods with the C6000 PDA in each operation process of the express delivery. Meanwhile, the information can be recorded quickly and uploaded to the management system via WIFI. The management personnel can quickly know the express route, and easily grasp the operation status of each link for better data analysis.
