RFID Based Access Control Solution for Commercial Buildings in Iraq

For a decade, Iraq is known for most serious civilian unrest. Continuous War & civil protest has widened up the gap between Iraqis and the ruling government. Many times, demonstrators have attacked government offices, buildings. Using fixed access control system in buildings to stop an unauthorized person is not cost effective and often damaged by demonstrators. To overcome this security breach, portable identification system found to be suitable to protect the commercial buildings from unwanted people, terrorists, and protesters.

  • Fixed Security system installed in a commercial building for access control is easy to breach and demolish.
  • Maintenance cost for the fixed security system is high. Therefore, at the time of protest & breakdowns, management has to spend a lot of money on repairing the devices.
  • The fixed security system provides limited security for building because real-time data is not available for analysis.

After discussion and understand the issues faced by users, Shenzhen Chainway Information Technology Co. has deployed its C4000 mobile computer at the various commercial building for effective access control system. Now the security guard at the entrance of the building carries a C4000 RFID device. Any employee with RFID badge pass through this device can be scanned automatically and data verify with a central database on real-time bases.
