Inventory Management Solution for a Retail Chain

Background
Sixun deploys its resources for R&D and marketing its technology to its customers in various sectors like entertainment, retail and commercial automation, etc. Due to early developer of retail software in China, Sixun is viewed as an expert in it and supply good amount of retail information circulation software to domestic clients. Recently, the company got a project where it had to deliver a solution for cashier and retail stores. The concern solution required a mobile computer in order to replace the traditional retail store into a smart store.

Challenges
1. Retail stores experience a heavy workload in peak seasons which makes the manual process inappropriate for inventories management.
2. Daily operation in a store required a portable device which can be carried by the floor manager to immediately identify the specific product.
3. Sixun required a device which can be easily integrated with its software and facilitate good performance.

Solution
As mentioned above, Sixun needed mobile computer support to make the solution work properly. Thus, the company deployed a C6000 mobile computer from chainway. This barcode-based mobile computer was integrated with retails store software in order to provide a real-time update about inventory and distribution.  This solution obtained and store the real-time inventory information from all the retail stores via mobile computers and update the information in the central database of the company.
