Background

The company undertake technology such as mobile computer to automatically manage the assets and ensure the stable operation in the business.

Challenges
1. Jinri Toutia has a large number of assets in the distribution channel. With diverse asset locations, the manual procedure becomes inefficient and error-prone.
2. Information is manually recording on the paper which has a limited capacity and leading to insufficient information about the assets.
3. Managing the assets require a process. In the absence of standard process, manager could not perform or maintain the asset effectively.
4. Decision-related to assets purchase, maintenance, and schedule procurement could not be effectively made by the senior management as proper data is not available.

Solutions
Above mention, challenges have led the Jinri Toutia to implement barcode technology for assets management. The company deployed Chainway’s C6000 mobile computer to scan barcode pasted on the assets. All the fixed assets are now supervised at all levels which include procurement, maintenance, cleaning, and scrapping. The mobile computers capture and record the assets data in real-time and save it with a central database to develop statistics information.

1. Inventory management of assets has significantly improved with an intelligent solution.2. Status of the assets area available in real-time. Now management can do advance planning with respect to replace the depreciated assets timely.
