UHF Solution for Rainforest Tree in the Philippines

Background
Philippine is one of the few countries in the world that has fully protected its rainforest along with 53% of the rain forest and other valuable wood like ebony and sandalwood area in the country. Therefore, the entire program of its maintenance is conducted by a special department. But this department is facing a lot of challenges due to illegal forest erosion in the last few years and for this reason, the Philippines government had decided to deploy UHF solution for its forest department.

Solution
To overcome this problem of the Philippines government, some special artificial intelligence technologies were resorted to, in which technology like the internet of things, mobile internet, big data, smart earth were used and individual UHF tags for each tree was allotted. Apart from this, all the forest officers used the UHF RFID terminal purchased from Chainway Company; they used this device for the safety and maintenance of the forest and its resources. As a result, apart from taking care of the forest, there has also been an unprecedented increase in the decision-making capacity of the forest department.

Effects
1. With the help of RFID electronic ID card application has helped to eliminate many illegal activities such as smuggling, reselling, illegal logging, over-exploitation, and over-excavation, etc.
2. RFID identification and other artificial intelligence technology have been of special importance in installing an electronic labeling system in the forest. It combines with a specially designed electronic ticket, transport certificate, harvesting certificate, collection certificate, quarantine certificate, etc., to properly enforce law and order in public services.
