The solution to Enhance efficiency for Chain Stores

Background
This case study is about a software company committed to conducting research & development for the application of information technology in retail, automation industry, catering & entertainment industries. Some time ago, this company got a project related to retails stores in which they had to prepare software for cashier and cargo distribution that could transform the manual store into an intelligent store.
 
Challenges
  1. Due to the high volume of items in warehouses related to the retail industry, an automatic scanning system was required by which a large number of items could be scan during peak season.
  2.  Management felt the requirement for a portable device for conducting daily operations effectively.
  3.  Management was looking for a device that could support their pre-developed software and achieve the best performance.
Solution
As we have already mentioned the company had made its chain store management software in advance and now, they had a device requirement for integration. Keeping this in mind, Chainway management proposed its C6000 handheld PDA for inventory, sorting, and distribution management in the company. Through this system, the data of all types of inventories were collected on a real-time basis and it was transmitted to the backend management system which helps the top management to analyze the collected data and make decisions for the future course of action.

2. Efficiency and accuracy in sorting, input, and output of items also improve with automation.
3. There is a complete transmission of paperwork into an automatic data entry solution. Data capture with the help of devices is automatically store and transmitted to the central database. Thus, no need to enter any information manually.

5. The improvement of warehousing operation efficiency has promoted the entire sales service and consumer satisfaction.
