Fixed Asset Tracking for Public Security Bureau

Background
A public security bureau decided to deploy RFID technology to enhance efficient management for fixed assets. To achieve this objective, management installs UHF RFID tags and Handheld RFID readers. These reader helps in quickly and efficiently completing the process of inventory management, data management for asset’s depreciation, tracking and standardize the work process for assets management. 
 
Challenges
  1. Fixed assets are located in a different location and further classified into various categories. It increases a lot of work for management by using the traditional way of assets management process which is inaccurate and time-consuming
  2. There is no better way to supervise staff performance and assigning the role of individual employees.
  3. Management cannot access to the asset’s maintenance records in real-time. So, an effective maintenance schedule can not be made for fixed assets. Which is why it also affects the working of a policeman.

Considering the above mention problem and customer requirements, Chainway corporation offers its C72 UHF mobile computer. The devices are integrated with assets management applications and RFID tags. With the strong intelligent management solution of the Public security bureau, now authorized staff can quickly and easily capture the information of fixed assets just by scanning the RFID tags assigned to individual assets. The data captured with the C72 is shared with the central database via a wireless network. It significantly improves the efficiency of asset tracking management.
