Background
This case study is about an apparel group which is a comprehensive group of two-winged international processing trade & commercial investment industry responsible for apparel brands. The company has a big network of stores for an apparel brand. Challenges
  1. Due to a large number of articles in the apparel store, any inventory changes become a tough and complicated task to update. The manual method of stoke updating is time-consuming and error-prone.
  2. Customer response time is usually long in the manual method because staff needs to sort out the items based on various factors like colour, code number, and sizes, etc.
  3. Unavailability of real-time stock data often results in a shortage of products and inappropriate delivery of high demand items at the store level. It affects the sales targets of any store. 
  4. The data collection between the various chain stores is difficult. The headquarters cannot obtain the sales situation of each chain store quickly, which negatively impacts the timely adjustment of inventory configuration and related strategies based on the market.
Solution
Chainway corporation helps the apparel group with its C76 UHF base mobile computer that is deployed in the stores for store data collection & management process. With the integration of intelligent store management applications with C76 Mobile Computers, apparel management has significantly improved the stock management process.
