Background
Sanbao Group specializes in the manufacturing of iron & steel products, hot-rolled steel (including billet), steel pipe furniture, etc. The raw material plays a significant role in the production process. The links like purchase, sales, production, and raw material inventory contain the necessary data required for the production process. To improve the efficiency of the weighing measurement process and enhance management benefits. Sanbao Group decided to introduce RFID technology and establish a real-time weighing measurement information system.
 
Challenges
1. The logistics throughput of raw materials in the factory is high. The weighing tasks of materials, by-products, and finished products are heavy-loaded and inefficient.
2. There are many loopholes in the links of raw material delivery and product weighing management, which cause an unavoidable loss to the enterprise.

Chainway equipped Sanbao Group with an intelligent weighing measurement solution based on Chainway C3000 industrial-grade handheld computer. The staff uses C3000 to scan the RFID tag that contains the vehicle information, raw material weight, and other information. The device automatically obtains the data instead of performing manual recording. And the collected data can be transmitted to the wireless network in real-time. The database system provides accurate data basis for further checking and management of relevant departments.
