Raw Material Weighing Management with HF

Background Yongfeng Iron and Steel is the only joint steel production enterprise in northwestern Shandong. It is the large rebar production base in Shandong. It is mainly engaged in the steel business, with an annual production capacity of 4.7 million tons of steel. To further strengthen the management of raw material weighing, Yongfeng Group decided to introduce RFID technology and establish an information-based weighing management system based on the application of RFID handheld computers. Challenges 1. Weighing measurement work of various links such as the purchase of raw materials, sales of finished products, transportation bear a large workload. While the traditional manual input is inefficient and error-prone.
 

 

 

2. The traditional method of manually recorded information in each link is time-consuming and error-prone. It brings difficulty in further management.
3. It is impossible to effectively supervise drivers and staff who perform weighing measurements, which leads to cheating or theft.
4. Inefficient weighing measurement causes long waiting times for drivers, resulting in low satisfaction of suppliers and customers.
 
Solution
 
With RFID, wireless network, and other technologies, Chainway equipped Chainway C3000 mobile computer in Yongfeng Group for an intelligent weighing measurement system. The staff does not need to record the weighing data manually, but only to use C3000 to scan the RFID tag that records the vehicle information, raw material weight, and other information to obtain the weighing data automatically. The data can be transmitted via the wireless network in real-time, to provide real-time data for further checking and analysis.

1. It realizes the intelligent weighing measurement of each link, making the weighing business process more efficient and accurate.
2. The measurement data is uploaded to the database system in real-time via a wireless network. The relevant management personnel or other downstream departments can check the measurement status anytime, which improves the linkage efficiency of various links and further enhances the overall production efficiency .
