Student Attendance Checking for Nantong Elite Education

Background
 
Managing student behavior & their safety is an important task for an education institute. Therefore, Kaonantong Elite Education introduced RFID technology for intelligent student attendance management and smooth communication between schools and parents.
 
Challenges
 
1. Attendance is recorded manually – such a process consumes lots of time. It leads to crowds of students during rush hours, which results in traffic.
2. there is a lack of timely communication between school and parents. Parents cannot know if any special issue occurs, such as social violence, and endanger students' physical and mental development.
3. It is difficult to perform attendance management, which cannot standardize the management of students by the school.
 
Solution
 
Nantong Elite Education configured Chainway UR4 fixed UHF reader for attendance management. Management issued a unique authorized tag for each student and the fixed reader installed at the entrance of the school gate. UR4 automatically reads the student's attendance in bulk, identifies whether the student arrives at or leaves school. Meanwhile, the data can be transmitted to the school management system in real-time via network and sent to the parents.

1. The new attendance management is accurate and can avoid proxy or false attendance.
2. It provides a high level of convenience and efficiency in attendance recording in comparison with traditional forms of attendance recording.
3. It eases parents' concerns. Parents can know the real situation of their children in school in real-time on the school news platform.
4. The real-time communication between the school management and parents is stabilized.
5. It doesn't not only improves the level of school operation but also serves the needs of students' self-management, self-cognition and self-development from a long-term perspective.
