With the rapid growth in the number of motor vehicles in the country, the load on employees to conduct an annual vehicle inspection has also increased many folds. Previously, several officers were assigned to conduct an on-site vehicle inspection, but today that workforce is not enough to meet the requirement. 2. It is impossible to check any data for verification and comparison. It is difficult to identify any problem and confirm whether the vehicle is stolen or illegally modified.
3. The vehicle audit is mainly completed by a manual on-site verification method, which is prone to favoritism and fraud.
4. The on-site vehicle verification information cannot be transmitted to the supervisory center in real-time and needs to be entered manually into the database system. This process is cumbersome.
5. The verification personnel often need to go back and forth many times in the supervision center when vehicles do not conform to regulations and take a long time.
 

Solution
 
The company introduced a remote monitoring solution for vehicle inspection based on Chainway C71 intelligent handheld terminal. The site inspectors are equipped with a C71 terminal that is further connected seamlessly connected in real-time with the supervisory center system. The Site staff can scan the relevant barcodes with the C71 device to obtain vehicle information such as specific vehicle part data. After the completion of the initial review, the system uploads the data to the supervision center. The staff in the supervision center obtains real-time data through the remote supervision system . It helps them to make comprehensive decisions based on vehicle information, photos, and videos. The solution significantly improves the efficiency of vehicle inspection.

1. Instead of manual inspection, the management now realizes the intelligent remote vehicle inspection, which remarkably saves time and improves work efficiency.
2. This solution easily recognizes some of the modified vehicles during the audit. It enhances the transparency and fairness of the vehicle audit.
3. With the implementation of the C71 mobile computer, the inspector can now take photos or video proof of a vehicle, which does not comply with the government regulations. The collected information can be uploaded to the supervision center for real-time verification by the inspector.
