In retail, from warehouse to store or to customer, Chainway telematics fleet management solution tracks fleet in an accurate and real-time manner, no matter where they are going and how long they will be on road. Chainway vehicle tablets track your assets from point of pickup to final destination and make your fleet smart and connected.
 
This vehicle tablet V600 is integrated with GPS to record fleet movement and geo-fencing route, OBD port to transmit OBD data, fingerprint & RFID scanner to verify drivers ID, camera to record drivers’ behavior, 4G/Wi-Fi wireless communication to update all key data to retailers’ backend monitoring platform. It can also connect to monitoring sensors via Bluetooth or USB to detect cargo condition.
 
 
Vehicle Status
You cannot control gasoline prices, but you can still have an economic transport by eliminating unnecessary fuel consumption. With Chainway telematics vehicle tablet, you will have real-time access to fleet’s OBD data and GPS fleet tracking data.
 
Geo-fencing makes sure that fleet drivers drive with following the selected routes which are chosen for their efficiency. If a driver deviates from the route, the vehicle tablet will trigger an alert to the backend fleet management server. Telematics mapping allows fleet managers to replay a drivers movements.
 
Unhealthy vehicle status like speeding, harsh acceleration and breaking can also be detected and alerted. If any incidents happen, fleet managers can respond quickly by knowing the precise vehicle location. On-road safety is ensured from every aspect.
 

Driver Behavior
Only authorized drivers can use your fleet vehicles. Chainway vehicle tablet V600 authenticates drivers’ identities by scanning their fingerprints or ID cards. It protect fleet against unauthorized use.
 
Also, V600 has a front camera and can connect to multiple cameras via USB or Bluetooth to record in-cab situation including drivers’ behaviors. Those videos are sent to backend server under wireless connectivity. When fleet managers have live in-cab view, they can clarify a claim against the company quickly by viewing those video feeds. V600 itself stores those videos during a limited time range. On site of accidents, drivers can show those videos on V600 as evidence.
 
GPS tracking with in-cab videos are valuable data that fleet managers can use to streamline operations and to enforce driver policies.
 

Cargo Condition
When transporting inflammable or explosive goods in retail, alcohol to bars and restaurants or gas to gas station, for example, it is vital to ensure that any risks of high temperature/pressure are eliminated, or at least, are detected in the earliest stage. Use a combination of camera and monitoring sensor is a popular choice.
 
Fleet managers can equip monitoring sensor and camera on the truck and connect them to Chainway vehicle tablet via USB or Bluetooth. Cargo condition including data of temperature / pressure / weight can be detected and showed on V600’s screen, so as live videos. Drivers can be informed of any abnormal situation and take quick action.
