Order is automatically generated
Once your warehouse needs to restock something, an electronic purchase order is generated automatically in the system. Chainway handheld computer, accessing the system wirelessly, will receive the order in real time. Workers will receive the notice on their Chainway device and can get prepared for the receiving.
 
Parcel is labelled with a barcode or RFID tag
Parcels from suppliers will be labelled with a unique barcode or RFID tag. When the truck arrives at your storage location like warehouse or distribution center, workers scan the labels to know the quantity and type of the cargo, and they can check the information with the purchase list.
 
Data is scanned and entered to the database
Each transaction will be scanned and recorded automatically. Eliminating manual data entry eliminates many opportunities for human error, improving productivity and data accuracy. More accurate inventory results are produced and in the end streamline the logistics process.
