Challenges
 
1. The rental company provides various types of equipment for rent. The original manual operation method features not only low working efficiency but also high error rate, which is difficult to avoid the losses of rented equipment.
2. Managers cannot perform reasonable resource scheduling and tracking management based on manual recording of the rented items.
3. The quantity and rental status of rented items cannot be checked in real time, thus, the customer cannot get quick response, which leads to low customer satisfaction.
4. It is difficult to trace and identify the leased items. And it causes economic loss to the company if any item replacements.   
 
Solution
 
With the application of P80 industrial tablet and C72 RFID reader, Chainway helps Party Rent establish an intelligent rental system, so as to realize the intelligent tracking management of rented items. Each item is equipped with an identifiable barcode and UHF tag, and the information of all rented items is recorded on the information management system. Workers can use P80 or C72 to scan the electronic tag, and accurately complete the corresponding registration and identification during the rental process like receiving, returning and cycle-counting. And the information can be uploaded to the backend system, which significantly improves the operational efficiency and standardizes the operational process. Meanwhile, the management personnel can check the rental status of all items for further analysis with ease.
