EcoTelematics Group is a Finland Enterprise specializing in business solutions for public and commercial transport. They are focusing to create cost-saving solutions for public and commercial transport. It is headquartered in Turku, Finland and operates business in Riga, Latvia. EcoTelematics has partners in  Lithuania, Bulgaria, Russia, Oman, Romania, Mexico, Japan, Sudan, Laos and Germany. EcoTelematic and Chainway collaborate on Latvia's logistics management project. V600 supporting special monitoring and positioning functions perfectly meets the technical needs of customers and help customers achieve efficient fleet management.
 
CHALLENGES 
 
1. Manual recording of vehicles has a large workload, causing high error rate in the process of transit transportation of railway stations, ports, docks, etc., or in the inventory management of 4S shop vehicles,
2. Managers have no channel to track the transportation record of the vehicles. Unexpected events occur and can be processed in time.
3. There is no reliable assessment basis for personnel management.
4. The information for the logistics centers is not circulating, which affects the unified management of the headquarters.
 
SOLUTION
 
Chainway V600 vehicle terminal is applied for management of each logistics vehicle. Thanks to the GPS function, the tracking and positioning of logistics vehicles can be realized. The realtime vehicle condition can be monitored based on OBD function. The real-time monitoring of the operating vehicle can be  realized and the data can be uploaded for analysis. It helps to regulate the driver's behavior and logistics route. In addition, managers can rationally allocate and dispatch fleet resources, in order to promote the efficient operation of logistics fleets, and maximize corporate profits.
