Chainway C75 Assisted the Smart Operation of the Belgrade-Budapest Railway in Serbia

On March 19th, the Belgrade-Novi Sad section in Serbia from the Serbian capital, Belgrade to the north-central city, Novi Sad of the Belgrade-Budapest railway was opened for operation, which means that the Chainway C75 Mobile Computer with Printer was also brought into service to support the efficient and smart operation of the Belgrade-Novi Sad section of the Belgrade-Budapest railway.


                      
The Chainway C75 Mobile Computer with Printer, as a train ticket printing and validation terminal, have been mainly deployed in the ticket sales points, inbound checkpoints, and onboard inspections.  For example, railway staff could print tickets on the spot with the printing function of C75 without the need for the customers to go to designated places to pick up tickets before boarding, which has facilitated the ticket purchase and significantly improves ticketing experience.  It is highly portable and easy to set up so it can be conveniently deployed even during peak periods to quickly relieve the pressure from high passenger flow.
 

The staff could instantly validate the tickets by scanning the 1D/2D codes on the tickets with the barcode function at various validation stages.  This greatly improved the efficiency of ticket inspection and travel experience of passengers.  C75 could effectively identify fake tickets and flawed tickets, ensuring the people, tickets and trains were all matching, and warranting the quality of ticket inspection.   


 
On the same day, the leaders of Serbia and Hungary brought with them the train ticket printed from Chainway C75 and took the first train from Belgrade Central Railway Station to Novi Sad Railway Station, experiencing the train ride.  It was also expected that the Chainway C75 Mobile Computer with Printer would provide convenience to more railway staffs and passengers in the future.

Chainway C75 is a large-screen mobile computer with thermal printer.  Integrated with excellent printing functions, the terminal supports a variety of print engines to print paper invoices, vouchers, etc. with ease and speed.  Moreover, the built-in dual PSAM card slots can protect the printing data with a higher level of security.  There are optional functions including NFC and bar code scanning.  C75 is a high-performing mobile computer, which can be widely employed in diverse industries including retail and parking management, apart from the ticket printing and inspection applications in the railway transport departments.
