Traffic Violation and Penalties Management with Chainway C75

Background
 
Colombian Transportation Administration needs to deal with traffic violation and penalties every day. In the past, traffic tickets were manually issued by traffic police, then violators held traffic tickets to pay the fines in the designated collection office. The process was complicated, prone to errors, and takes a long time.
 
Challenges
 
1. By issuing a ticket, traffic officers need to manually record the driver's license, ID card, location of the traffic violation, amount of fine and other information, which is a time consuming and inefficient process.
2. Handwritten tickets are prone to errors that may lead to disputes between the violator and the payee.
3. It is impossible to verify the identity of the violators, Therefore, the violators simply present fake certificates to escape the punishment.
4. Law enforcement punishment relies entirely on the judgment of the traffic police, and it is difficult to  verify the correctness of law enforcement.
5. In emergencies, the lack of access to detailed public security information can hamper the immediate response tasks.
 
Solution
 
Based on the traffic police enforcement status of the Colombian Transportation Administration, Chainway deployed the C75 handheld computer with  printer, which integrates functions such as data collection, comparison and printing. With the C75 intelligent terminal, the traffic police on duty can quickly check the information of peccancy vehicles and drivers anytime and anywhere. They can take photos on the spot to collect the evidence, deal with vehicle violations on-site, and print traffic tickets. Meanwhile, they can upload data in real-time, which greatly enhances working efficiency and the flexibility of traffic police enforcement.
 
Effects
 
1. With the deployment of handheld computer, it eliminates the cumbersome process of issuing
hand-written ticket by the traffic police and avoids the mistakes caused by handwriting, ensuring traffic police enforcement with high efficiency.
 
2. C75 sets printing function in one. Traffic police on duty can directly print traffic tickets anytime and anywhere when handling vehicle violations. It greatly simplifies the processing flow of traffic violations and improves the efficiency of traffic police enforcement.
 
3. By getting an Internet connection along with handheld computer, traffic police can inquire about detailed public security data and intelligently verify the identity of the violator and the vehicle, effectively avoiding the fraud of the document or identity information. And they can also report the violation information related to the criminals as soon as possible.
