Background
 
The fast-growing fashion operation enterprise directly operates its offline retail outlets and online operating platforms. The Group had 9,066 retail outlets in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country, covering 2,745 department stores and shopping centers. In order to strengthen the management of store sales and store inventory, the management team want to use high-performance RFID handheld terminals to check the inventory of in-store products and the store revenue status.
 
Challenges
 
  • When looking for goods for customers, the manual search method on computer often takes a long time, thus often makes the customer wait a long time.
  • The daily commodity inventory is heavy-loaded and error-prone, and it takes a lot of manpower and time cost,
  • The statistics of the goods are more cumbersome, and the counter sales cannot be timely updated so that it is impossible to ensure sufficient supply of goods at all times.
  • The data collection between the various chain stores is difficult. The headquarters cannot obtain the sales status of each chain store quickly, which affects the timely adjustment of inventory configuration and related strategies based on the market.
 
Solution
 
The company deploys Chainway C76 portable UHF handheld in warehouses, stores and distribution centers. The terminal realizes the intelligent batch reading management of the apparel products in each link, which greatly liberates the labor force and makes the business work of each link more precise and efficient. It not only improves the working efficiency of each supply chain and stores but also further improves service and the brand image.
